Together we learn, together we grow, together we soar.

Eco Team

During our eco meeting today, we counted the money raised through the rainbow non-uniform day. We raised £378.98 for the Dorset Wildlife Trust. Thank you for your support.

Feedback from our Green Flag with Merit

Eco Schools Green Flag with merit!!!

Yesterday, we received confirmation that we were successful with our application for our school's Green Flag with merit. This would not have been possible without our wonderful Eco team and the support of the whole school and wider community.

A plea from the Eco Team to only flush the three ps!

A plea from the Eco Team to stop single-use plastic in lunch boxes.

Thank you to our eco monitors who ensure we are saving energy where possible.

Our eco monitors are Miles, Ruby, Poppy, Amber, Finley, Lola, Archie, Sunny, Chloe, Jacob, Ryan, Louise, Jake, Fleur, Miss Charlesworth, Harry, Indy-Rae, Archie, Hatty and Isla.

Have you seen our eco themed books in the library? If not, pop in and have a look!

A huge thanks to the PTFA who purchased many of the books alongside the Weymouth and Portland Lions Clubs who donated the Wild Tribe Heroes series.

The books cover a range of topics: turtles eating too much plastic; a puffin who gets tangled in a balloon; an orangutan whose home is being destroyed; ways to save energy; and things to make using old items.
