For very useful information about the safe use of modern technologies, visit Thinkuknow.  This site has areas for children and young people as well as for parents, and is constantly updated to give current advice and guidance. Free resources can also be downloaded.

Wheres Your Head At

On 1st December 2009 the Dorset HealthCare NHS Foundation Trust launched the new website Wheres Your Head At, which is an innovative website for children, teenagers, parents, carers and professionals, focussing on emotional mental health and well-being. The idea came from a group of parents and young people who wanted a more user friendly resource for themselves and their children. The website provides access to information and advice on a range of topics such as bullying, depression, anxiety, bereavement and eating disorders, with content appropriate to the audience.
