Happy, kind and brave.

Together we learn, together we grow, together we soar.

Year 2 - Exploring Shapes and Shakleton's Adventure

This week in Year Two we have continued to rehearse our Christmas play, and everyone is working hard to remember their lines and sing with confidence. It’s really starting to come together, and we can’t wait to share it with you soon!

In Design and Technology, we designed and created our very own puppets. It was amazing to see all the different ideas and we can't wait to make them next week. If anyone would like to help us do contact the office.

In History, we travelled back in time to learn about Ernest Shackleton’s Endurance expedition to Antarctica. We didn’t just read about it—we acted out the dramatic events! It helped us understand how brave and determined the explorers were.

In PSHE, we focused on kindness and inclusion. We worked together to think about ways we can help others who might feel left out, making sure everyone feels part of our class community.

In Maths, we explored shapes in lots of fun ways. We used different equipment to make shapes and discovered that the corners of shapes are called vertices.

It’s been a fantastic week of learning and creativity. We’re looking forward to more adventures next week!
