Happy, kind and brave.
Together we learn, together we grow, together we soar.
This week in Year 2, we continued looking at puppets. The children learned how to use a template to create their very own finger puppets. It was wonderful to see their creativity as they designed and decorated their puppets. During our sewing, we discovered an important lesson: glue isn’t always the best way to fix material together. This gave us the chance to talk about different joining techniques and why some work better than others.
Alongside our puppet-making fun, we have also started preparing for Christmas! The children have been learning their words and songs for our festive performance. There’s a real buzz of excitement in the classroom as we get ready to celebrate this special time of year. We can't wait to perform later in the term.
