Year 3 - Racket Sports and Nets

Year 3 have had a fun week - in English we have been writing persuasive adverts, in maths we have been learning and applying the 4 times table, and in DT we have been practising making 3D shapes from nets for our unit on Packaging. 

 

A group of fabulous students walked to Redlands to take part in a Racket Sports Festival with other Year 3 children from around Weymouth. They did brilliantly in lots of skill games to do with tennis, badminton and pickleball. 

 

Well done to the children for all their hard work :-)
