Year 3 - Science Experiment and Story Writing
This week, year 3 did a science experiment to see which surfaces created the most friction. We rolled a marble down a ramp and measured how far it travelled on carpet, concrete, grass and paper, recording our results in a table. In our English sessions, we also planned and wrote our own story based on the picture book ‘Animal Magic’. We tried to include expanded noun phrases, coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions and direct speech.
