Year 5- Oracy Project and Kenya letters
It has been a wonderful week in Year 5! The children enjoyed a visit from a special guest who helped them develop their oracy skills, building on their work for The Highwayman performance. They have shown incredible effort as they prepare for their pavilion performance and should feel very proud of themselves.
Both Classes were really interested in the photos Miss Roberts shared from her trip to Kenya and asked lots of thoughtful, insightful questions. A real highlight was reading the letters from the Kenyan children – the excitement in the room was brilliant to see!
Well done, Year 5, for your curiosity, hard work, and enthusiasm!
