Year Two – Times Table Rock Stars Day & Colour Mixing Fun!
Today was an exciting day in Year Two as we celebrated Times Table Rock Stars Day! The classroom was filled with brilliant Rock Stars—leather jackets, sunglasses, colourful wigs, and plenty of sparkle. Everyone looked fantastic and we enjoyed being rock stars for the day.
We spent the morning playing games linked to our times tables, then in the afternoon we used the Times Table Rock Stars programme to help us practise and improve our 2, 5 and 10 times tables. The children loved challenging themselves.
In Art this week we explored colour mixing and experimented with making different shades of green, orange and purple. The children worked carefully to see how adding more of one colour changed the shade. These mixed colours will be used later in the term when we create our own collages.
