Clay hedgehogs and hibernation - Year 1
On Monday, we had great fun down in the nature reserve. We learnt about hibernation and that hedgehogs hibernate in places that are safe and protected from their predators.
We made clay hedgehogs and used different natural materials to create their spikes. Then, it was fun finding a place for them to hibernate.
We will look again in the spring to see if they are still there.
