'Love where You Live Week' Year 1
This week has been incredibly busy and lots of fun! We have been exploring the theme of the sea and thinking about how lucky we are to live in Weymouth.
The children have enjoyed a range of creative activities, including making willow fish and clay sea snails. They also had the opportunity to use tools to carefully drill a hole through a piece of wood.
We were very lucky to take part in a special dance session with a professional dance teacher. The children loved creating movements inspired by sea creatures.
The hot weather made things a little challenging at times, but we kept cool by spraying each other with a hose – which was definitely a highlight of the week!
