Reception - Dinosaurs
This half term Reception have begun their exciting new topic all about dinosaurs.
This week we explored what a dinosaur is and learned that dinosaurs lived in prehistoric times. We had lots of fun using our imaginations to move like dinosaurs, from stomping like a Tyrannosaurus Rex to stretching up tall like a Brachiosaurus.
The children used their problem-solving skills and creativity to junk model their own dinosaurs. We also practised our counting skills by measuring dinosaurs with cubes and comparing their sizes.
