Reception - Me on the Outside
This week we have been exploring what makes each of us unique and special. We have focused on the wonderful things we can see about ourselves on the outside and celebrated the similarities and differences that make us who we are.
The children have thoroughly enjoyed reading Incredible You!, Super Duper You! and Ruby’s Worry. In circle time, children shared ideas about what makes them special and listened carefully as their classmates talked about themselves.
It was Reception’s first trip to the Nature Reserve this week. We enjoyed a welly walk in search of signs of autumn and spent time exploring, discovering the beautiful outdoor environment together.
