Year 2
We Love Learning
What a busy first half-term the Year 2 children have had. We are immensely impressed with how hard they have worked across all the subjects. Our indoor PE lessons have culminated in the children creating gymnastic sequences (a bit like sentences- where you have to have a clear start, finish and lots of great words (jumps, balance, bridges etc) in between that flow and make sense! In Art, the children have also completed their Henri Rousseau inspired landscapes.
We had a brilliant Nature reserve session on Tuesday where we went on a spider web hunt! Who knew that there were so many kinds of spider webs!
Every child has a subject that they enjoy – here are some of things the children have enjoyed this half-term.
