Year 3 - hockey and music.
This week, year three enjoyed taking part in their first hockey session. Our coach taught us the correct way to hold a hockey stick and how to use it to dribble with the ball. We played a game where we had to see how many cones we could dribble through in two minutes. We also had our first music lesson of the year. At the moment we are learning to play tuned percussion instruments and follow simple music notation. We succeeded in playing along to a backing track in order to perform a duet using the notes ‘E’ and ‘D’.
