Year 3 - river explorers!
Year 3 had a lovely trip to Sutton Poyntz to visit the River Jordan and the Wessex Water station, as part of our geography work on rivers and the water cycle.
We enjoyed wading in the river with nets to catch creatures, which told us that the water was lovely and clean. We measured the flow speed, did some sketching and surveys, and learnt more about where our water comes from and the water cycle.
Thank you to Wessex Water for a super day, and well done to the children for joining in so well.
