Year 4 - Making the most of the sunshine
This has felt like one very busy week! The children have worked brilliantly in Maths - with their new topic on Shape. In English, the children have learned about the perilous feat that Philippe Petit performed in 1974 as part of their recount writing. Mrs Smith has been tremendously impressed with the knowledge and application in French this week - they truly are amazing.
The spelling lesson took the children outside to write the new spelling words using chalk and then water and brush (they had to be quick!)
Friday is always a fabulous day for the children are outside swimming. In addition to the usual Friday, many children went off to perform new roles today as they took over teaching roles, care-taking roles, head teaching role and librarians! Wonder if any of them will take on these roles later in life?
