Happy, kind and brave.
Together we learn, together we grow, together we soar.
You read this blog, right? In English, we have been looking at persuasive writing. One of the features of persuasive writing is rhetorical questions. These are questions that do not necessarily need an answer but make you think or take a pause to consider. We have already looked at writing that tries to persuade other, for example: Should homework be banned in schools? Next week the children will be writing their own persuasive speeches on a topic of their choice.
In English and Maths every starts with a Flashback. A flashback is used to help the children recall previous learning so that the knowledge is embedded. Have a look at an example of each one. Do you know the answers?
We have had such a great start to our swimming lessons, and the children are already making progress. Fabulous!
