Happy, kind and brave.
Together we learn, together we grow, together we soar.
Year 5 have been exploring the vibrant work of Cornish print artist Lou Tonkin. They carefully studied her use of colour, shape and pattern, discussing what makes her style so distinctive. The children then recreated an example of her artwork. This activity has helped them develop ideas and gather inspiration for their own original designs, which they will be creating later this term. We were very impressed with their focus, creativity and attention to detail, and we look forward to seeing how they apply these skills in their independent artwork.
