Year One - Things from the Past Museum
Year 1 put on a wonderful 'Things from the Past' Museum on Tuesday. We were lucky enough to have some amazing experts visit school to talk to the children about the artefacts that had been brought in. Their knowledge and enthusiasm helped bring history to life, and the children asked some fantastic questions.
Everyone enjoyed exploring all the interesting items on display. The children had the opportunity to play with some old-fashioned toys, try writing with a fountain pen and even have a go at typing on a real typewriter. It was amazing to see how much technology has changed over the years.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed artefacts to our museum. We all learnt so much from the experience and had a wonderful time stepping back into the past.
Well done, Year 1, for being such brilliant historians!
