Year Two - Smoothies and Book Week
What an exciting week we have had!
At the beginning of the week, the children designed and made their own smoothies. They learnt how to carefully use tools to peel and chop fruit, then blended the fruit with juice. The children enjoyed tasting what they had made.
During the week, the children have enjoyed lots of activities for book week. They made some amazing hats, which they wore on Thursday and some children praded them in assembly. It was lovely to see so many children involved in the reading cafe, enjoying books with their adults. In class we retold a fable, then designed a decorative door and bunting for the cafe.
