Reception - More Than, Less Than and Equal To
We have been experimenting with some fantastic mathematical language in Reception the last few weeks. The children have been learning to use the words more than, fewer than and less than. They have been great at this, and this week experimented with drawing, writing and showing 1 less and 1 more.
We also introduced the words 'equal to', and played a game where they had to make towers with a partner and say if their tower had more, less or equal blocks to their partners.
Well done Reception - you are showing some marvellous maths skills!
