Reception visited Maiden Castle Farm

On Tuesday we visited Maiden Castle Farm. We learned all about crops that grow such as wheat and barley. We learned about cows, bulls and calves. We saw all the farm machinery and the safe places where the animals are cared for. Our favourite part of the visit was meeting and feeding the lambs. It was a wonderful day. The children loved the picnic and the bus trip too!
