Seeds for the bees
This week we had an exciting donation of seeds for all the children in Reception and KS1. One of wonderful parents Maria and her brother designed a mural to dress the well at Upwey wishing well last May and raised £245.09. They used this money to purchase the seeds and Gould garden centre donated a further 2 boxes.
The seeds are to be scattered to encourage bees and wildlife into our community. Some of our children helped make the mural so we are very proud of them.
The children will bring their seeds home this week and we can’t wait to hear how the flowers grow and how many butterflies and bees they can see.
