Year 1 - Pond Dipping
On Tuesday, we all had a go at pond dipping in the school pond. The weather was glorious and we had great fun! Nearly everyone caught something.
We found a couple of different types of newts, a dragonfly nymph, snails and water beetle larva.
The children used magnifying glasses and tried to identify their animals. There was quite a lot of weed caught but we all had fun in the sun.
