Year 1 - Rhyming words

We have read lots more books by the author Julia Donaldson and the children have become familiar with many of her characters. This week, we have read 'Room on a Broom', spotted rhyming words and played a rhyming quiz.

 

The children have matched rhyming pictures and thought of their own rhyming words and written them down. The children had some fantastic suggestions and loved thinking of their own words that rhyme.
