Happy, kind and brave.
Together we learn, together we grow, together we soar.
What a super week we have had! The children have been so amazing writing their own stories based on the books Not Now Bernard and The Gorilla. They had to use the past tense to tell their story. Here are a few examples.
The children have also started to follow musical notation in our Music lessons, using the new boom-whackers, hand bells and hand chimes.
The creativity has also flowed into their art work. Today, the children have designed their own landscape pictures in the style of Henri Rousseau. They also learned how to colour-wash paper in preparation for their landscape paintings next week.
It looks like it maybe a wet weekend, so get out your pencils and paints and continue being creative!
