Year 2 - Inside and Out
Year 2 have had another super working week both inside and out of the classroom. We have had some fun outside where we had our first games session. We learned that we need good hand-eye coordination to catch and throw the balls, bean-bags and quoits. We also had a wonderful time in the Nature Reserve – we cannot wait to go again next week.
In class, we started our Science topic on Habitats and have already looked at how animals are suited to their habitat. We know that all habitats need to provide 3 things: food, shelter, and a safe place to raise their young. We will continue to investigate these habitats over the next few weeks. Maybe over the weekend the children can explore local habitats. We are excited to be learning songs ready for Harvest time – we are rather good at singing!
