Year 2 - Looking for Mini Beasts and Visiting The Library
This week Year Two have started work on recounts. The children thought about the events of their day and learnt about writing in the past tense. They have learnt the rules for adding the suffix ed to different words and written some super sentences about events in their day.
The children had an exciting day on Wednesday looking for minibeasts in different microhabitats. They looked under logs, on paths and in bushes. They found lots of woodlouse and spiders! It was very muddy too but they had lots of fun!
On Friday the children visited the library and they got the chance to bring a library book home. We hope you enjoy reading them with them!
