Year 3- 28/6/24
During ‘Love Where You Live Week’ , year 3 were involved in lots of exciting activities;
-We made bird feeders to encourage more birds in our nature reserve
-We learnt some local sea shanties
-We made some traditional Dorset apple cakes
-We produced several sketches and watercolour pictures of our surrounding countryside
-We made a map of Dorset with some of its key features and tourist attractions.
-We went on a countryside ‘welly walk’ to the River Wey.
-We learnt about the significance of Punch and Judy on Weymouth beach and designed performed our own puppet shows.
-We walked to Sand World and enjoyed a picnic in the park
