Happy, kind and brave.
Together we learn, together we grow, together we soar.
This week, in our English sessions, we focused on using powerful adjectives to write expanded noun phrases about a range of prehistoric animals. We began this by working in groups from pictures and then moved on to write more detailed individual descriptions of our own. We used our best handwriting to copy them up for a display.
In our nature reserve time, some of us used knives (whilst carefully supervised) to practise cutting and feathering sticks as preparation for firewood. The rest of us were involved in a mini beast hunt. Over the next few weeks we will all have a turn at working on our knife skills.
