Year 3- Measuring Fun!
This week, year 3 started a new maths topic on measuring length. Over a sequence of lessons, we have learned to use rulers to measure accurately in millimetres, centimetres and metres. We have developed these skills practically measuring objects in the classroom, windows and doorways and even each other! This week in our English lessons, we completed our classroom displays of our ‘Wizard of Oz’ character and setting descriptions. We also started learning how to write a persuasive letter. So far we have worked on including adverbials of time, imperative verbs and rhetorical questions.
