Year 3 - Preparing Our Fire Area
This week, in our English lessons, year 3 began to look at writing an informative speech. In addition, as part of our maths work, we examined fractions and learned how to sequence them in ascending and descending order. Thursday afternoon was spent in the nature reserve, preparing an area for fire building. We also used the time as an opportunity to set up a forest art gallery, creating tree sketches using charcoal from our own camp fire.
