Year 3 - Shapes and Colours!
This week, we created our own art pieces inspired by Beatriz Milhazes. The children used bright colours, bold shapes, and layered patterns to reflect her distinctive style, and really enjoyed experimenting with different designs to make their artwork stand out!
On Monday, the whole school had a fantastic visit from Rocksteady. We all loved watching the live music, and some lucky children even had the chance to join in and perform as part of the band—it was such an exciting experience!
In maths, we focused on measuring and calculating the perimeter of different shapes. The children worked carefully with rulers, checking their answers and building their confidence.
Music lessons have been full of energy as we continued learning Three Little Birds on the glockenspiels. The children are becoming more confident each week with both the notes and the rhythm!
