Year 3 - Spears and Battle Descriptions
Wow! What a busy first full week we’ve had in year 3!
In our English sessions, we used role-play to plan a battle description between some children and a cave bear (based on our book –‘Stone Age Boy’). We focussed on including as many exciting compound sentences when we wrote it up.
During our nature reserve time, we continued our Stone Age topic through searching for appropriate rocks in order to make spear-heads. We had a great time.
Finally, in our gymnastics sessions, we worked hard on learning how to perform a shoulder stand.
