Happy, kind and brave.
Together we learn, together we grow, together we soar.
Day 3 of our adventure continues! Today saw us start the day with a brisk walk to Underfall Yard after yet another fantastic fried and continental breakfast!
We then split into two groups, where half of us began some paddleboarding, while the other group took part in a workshop at Underfall Yard.
The workshop at Underfall Yard was fascinating as we learnt of the history of Bristol harbour, including the floating harbour, locks and even witnessed a hydraulic pump demonstration.
The paddleboarders then went out on the water, where everyone quickly gained confidence and started standing up almost instantly! However, plenty of children did come back onto the pontoon slightly soggy; a mixture of trying out new challenges and slightly cheeky teachers!
Year 6 finished off the day with a superb Aardman workshop. They all worked fantastically and produced some amazing Gromits! They were then judged by Mr Ford in a blind 'British Bake off style' competition! You'll see how hard the job of judging was by the fantastic pictures.
We then had a fairly chilled evening watching Wallace and Gromit and admiring the craftsmanship of the characters.
We are all looking forward to seeing family tomorrow.
