Year Two - Art
The children have all settled well into the new year and are enjoying working collaboratively with their new classes.
In English, they have been busy reading stories set in a home. They have read the Tiger Who Came to Tea, Gorilla and Laura's Star. They have been using adjective to write descriptive sentences. Next week they will have a go at writing their own story.
The children have all enjoyed exploring habitats down in the nature reserve. This week they went looking for different types of spider webs. Thank you for providing them with the wellies so we can still go exploring when it is wet.
In art we have been looking at Henri Rousseau and using watercolours to match colours in his artwork.
