Happy, kind and brave.
Together we learn, together we grow, together we soar.
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Yesterday, a team of Year 5 and 6 girls went to Southill for a football friendly. The match was very even throughout, but the girls took every opportunity and battled until the final whistle resulting in a 2:1 win!
This week we have spent a lot of time looking at shoes. As part of our maths work, we worked together to draw around each others feet (luckily they were not too smelly) and we used cubes to measure how long our feet were.
We showed some great maths skills and measured with and counted the cubes really carefully. Some of us had long feet that were 12 cubes long and others of us had shorted feet that were 7 cubes long.
Year 4 have been busy investigating fractions this week - why is 2 1/4 the same as 9 quarters? Why is 5/3 the same as one and two thirds?
We have also enjoyed listening to and reading lots of different Aesop's Fables as part of World Book Week. We love the animals and all the important messages and morals. Can you find any others to enjoy at home?
