Year 5 pupils had a lovely visit on Tuesday from the Reverend Nick and Laura from St. Aldhelm’s Church. The children took part and listened beautifully, and they were rewarded with a tub of chocolates to share! We are all looking forward to visiting the church in the week before Christmas.

  • Year 2 - A happy week all around!

    Fri 18 Nov 2022

This week the Year 2’s have been working very hard in all of their subjects. In ICT, they started a new topic on Internet safety.  The children have been learning how to send emails, and how to respond to them safely (all under the careful protected program in Purple Mash).

In PE, they were all excited to have had a go at the parachute challenges.

This week was the last week in our writing to entertain topic in English. The children are now becoming great experts on using the expanded noun phrase. Their character descriptions have been sensational.

Friday brought all of the children into school in colourful clothing to support the charities included in Children in Need. Thank you for all of your donations.

We have now begun with our Christmas production rehearsals, and are delighted that parents have been helping their children learn their lines for any speaking parts.
