Year 4 had a super extended day trip to Leeson House near Swanage recently! They enjoyed lots of team games, pond dipping, orienteering, and nature and local history walk. Well done to all the children for their super attitude and behaviour.
Year 3 had a super trip to Sutton Poyntz as part of their rivers topic. The children enjoyed catching creatures in the stream and identifying them, which was a good way to check the quality of the water coming out of the spring. We enjoyed a river-side walk and looked at features of a river, and learnt about where our clean water comes from and how it is treated. Well done to the children for their super behaviour and positive attitudes! Thank you to Wessex Water for having us.
