We are so very, very proud of the awesome, amazing actors who performed their outstanding play – ‘A Big Green Adventure’, to parents on Thursday. This was the first live performance at Radipole Primary School for over two years, and what a performance! The children should feel very proud of themselves for their singing, acting and dancing was simply BRILLIANT!

This week the children have also had some fun Science lesson where they made telephones to show how sound travels. They have also written some funny stories about Rambashi’s next venture! Ask them about their tales!

We talked about how many full cups filled a bottle and tried to solve problems.
The children had great fun, but it was a little chilly at the beginning of the week.

  • Year 5 - Diary Entries Based on 'The Highwayman'

    Thu 07 Apr 2022

Over this half term, Year 5 children have been reading the romantic ballad 'The Highwayman', written by Alfred Noyes and first published in 1906. After studying the poem over several weeks, the children now have an excellent insight into the characters. This week, they all worked brilliantly to write a diary entry, written from the perspective of Bess, the landlord's daughter, who is in love with the highwayman. They used evidence from the text and empathised with Bess to produce some wonderful writing. See what you think from our small selection pictured here.
